QSA Certification obtained in 2024
In September 2024, OLI obtained the Integrated Quality, Safety, and Environmental Certification (QSA Certification).
The Integrated QSA Certification is an approach that combines three important business management systems: quality, occupational safety, and environmental management, in order to optimize operational efficiency, ensure compliance with regulations, and improve performance in all three areas.
What is the aim of the QSA certification?
It aims to:
- Quality (ISO 9001): Ensure that business processes are managed efficiently, and that products/services meet customer expectations and applicable regulations.
- Occupational Health & Safety (ISO 45001): Ensure the health and safety of workers by reducing risks in the workplace through preventive practices and the adoption of appropriate measures to avoid injuries and occupational diseases.
- Environmental Management (ISO 14001): Promote responsible ecological behaviors, reduce the environmental impact of business activities, and comply with current environmental regulations.
Benefits of Integrated Certification:
- Efficiency and Savings: Reduction of administrative and operational costs resulting from the separate management of different certification systems.
- Resource Optimization: A single integrated management system for all three areas.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourages a systematic approach to improving performance in quality, safety, and environment.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all three areas.
In essence, integrated certification allows organizations to adopt a unified management system for quality, safety, and the environment, leading to greater competitiveness, reduced risks, and improved overall sustainability.
